I believe, this was my 4th trip to Le Meridien Makkah and as always, the expectations were superbly met ! Booked a twin bed along with Breakfast (which was on the top, 21st floor). Their omelette station is the best, although the varieties are not like LE MERIDIEN standard, just the basic stuff like the common ROASTED POTATOES, Omelette, breads and sweet stuff like Vanilla and chocolate pound cakes, croissants, donuts etc. The room size is quite good for 2 people, I was on the 15th floor; got upgraded to a PARTIAL HARAM view - which was like 30% view of the Haram. Good market around walking distance (UNITED PHARMACY, ice cream shop, grocery general store, mini restaurant etc). ZAIN / STC / MOBILY stalls are available on the way to the Haram. (NOTE: only sims are provided at those stalls, not credit recharge) As mentioned by 1000s of vistiors, the walk from the hotel to Haram is like 4-5 mins. Overall, a wonderful stay NOTE: * UBER DOES NOT WORK INSIDE THE HARAM, so uber taxis can DROP you off from Airport/train station to the Hotel but NOT vice versa!!! Although, you can easily find taxis outside the hotel; but you should ALWAYS bargin for the fare; I bargained & paid 40 SAR for the trip to the Train station, which was about 20-25 mins away. (the taxis usually charge 50-60 SAR) ** Whatsapp calls SOMETIMES work but the best to use is FACETIME (Iphone users) or Facebook messenger (IOS/Android users)

It offers easy access to one of the gates for those performing Umrah (Ground Floor Mataaf) and is also close to the ramp leading up to the first and second-floor Tawaf areas. The hotel exceeded my initial expectations. The staff were extremely helpful, even accommodating an early check-in despite no prior notice. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The hotel WiFi was speedy, and the staff were kind enough to let me use different areas, such as the restaurant and the meeting room, where I could join my online classes without any issues. I traveled alone and stayed in a single queen bed room. It was extremely spacious, stocked with complimentary water and hot drinks, and also came with a personal iron and ironing board. The lobby features a spacious lounge area, and the numerous lifts ensure minimal waiting time to access your room. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near a taxi roundabout, making it easy to travel to various sites. It is also close to the Clock Tower, which offers a wide range of dining options.

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which added a touch of luxury to my stay. The rooms themselves are beautifully appointed, blending modern amenities with traditional elegance. The attentive and professional staff further enhanced the experience, always ready to assist with a genuine smile. Dining at the hotel was a delight, with a diverse range of options catering to various tastes. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, featuring a generous selection of fresh and tasty dishes. In summary, Le Meridien Hotel in Makkah offers a luxurious stay with exceptional service and a prime location. I would rate it 9/10 and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

From the moment I stepped into hotel,I knew I was in for a treat. The elegant lobby immediately set a luxurious tone. My room was a comfort, with a plush bed, crisp linens, and clean . The bathroom was equally impressive, boasting supplement's like soap cream etc. The hotel's location was ideal, within walking distance of al haram. The staff were exceptional, always friendly and accommodating. I particularly appreciate Muhammad Israfil housekeeper who was a great nice warm welcoming fellow. Smile every time we meet him. As he is really genuinely love the people I also enjoyed the hotel's cleanses with beautiful smells was a highlight of my stay. Overall, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable stay.

wonderful. SO close to al-haram, depending on which entrance, anything between 50-150 meters. comfortable bed. daily cleaning! great buffet breakfast. Because it is not too big nor too small, it can provide great elevator service, as opposed to tower clock. very helpful multilingual staff: arabic, french, english, etc (Love you my Moroccan brothers!). true hospitality. Nice view from the room. There is prayer hall if you just want to join the congregational prayer from the hotel. very suitable if you bring an elderly. great shopping opportunities around. taxis are abundant. Oh Allah, grant me the opportunity and means to repeat my stay here!
